BIBLICAL CERTIFICATION SERIES

OVERVIEW

Are you interested in studying Bible, theology, and ministry at a challenging level, to better prepare for service in the church? The Genesis Training Center’s Biblical Certification Series may be for you!
The Genesis Training Center is a partnership between the Northwest Christian Evangelistic Association (NWCEA) and Our Place – Your Christian Church in Hillsboro. Genesis exists to provide support and training for a movement of church multiplication, and to provide resources for existing churches.
To meet the need of preparing biblically literate staff members and   volunteers for our local congregations, Genesis is offering a series of six-week courses in biblical, theological and ministry studies. These courses are designed to be taught at an engaging and challenging level, by a faculty of experienced local church leaders who all have appropriate credentials.
The initial core group of six classes will be offered during the 2007-2008 school year, with advanced Level II classes planned for the following year. Classes are open to any interested persons, and will be conducted in two-hour sessions one evening per week for six weeks.
The fee per six-week class is $60.00. Books and resources will be available at a significant discount. Students who complete all five courses for the certification will have 50% of the registration fee refunded upon completion. To receive credit for each course, the student must be in attendance for at least five of the six class sessions, and complete all readings and assignments.
Students who complete the initial series of six courses will receive a certification from NWCEA’s Genesis Training Center, and be eligible to enroll in subsequent Level II courses as they become available.
Completion of all courses for certification, however, is not required. Any interested persons may enroll in any class that is of interest and meets their needs.
